Adventures of Dusty Sourdough

Glen is an author of books and music so his performance reflects both.
When he enters the stage, to the delight of the onlookers, he is in the full regalia of a 1800's prospector.
Usually he opens with a song he wrote and this leads into spellbinding stories, of course in the end, he leaves you with unanswered questions you can only answer by opening a book and reading it for yourself.
The whole purpose of his appearance at your venue is to instill reading, writing and self-esteem in the students.
His success rate is phenomenal with students that have put up walls and have refused to learn to read.
He has even spoken before adults and changed their minds about reading and instilled in them a desire to pick up a book and encourage their children to learn to read. After all itís about time to put the responsibility of literacy where the desire to read should start (at home) and quit blaming our teachers for what parents should have been doing long before a child enters school.

Glen not only talks the talk, he walks the walk and believes with every fiber of his body that reading is the key to each individuals future, he also believes itís the key to this nations future.
Ö Yes! One man can make a difference.
